Vancouver Canucks Young Stars Tournament tickets on sale August 15
Single game tickets and day passes for the Vancouver Canucks Young Star Tournament will go on sale Monday, August 15th, 2011 at 10:00 AM PDT. Single game tickets cost $15.00 and day passes are $25.00. The Vancouver Canucks Young Stars Tournament is from September 11th till the 15th at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, B.C.
The tournament will include either games and feature players from the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets and the San Jose Sharks. 15 NHL first and second round draft picks are scheduled to play for their respective teams.
Tickets are available at Valley First Tix or by phone at 1-877-763-2849 or in person at the South Okanagan Events Centre box office. There are a limited number of 8 game package tickets available until August 15th for $100.00.

Edmonton Oilers Cheerleaders – How To Apply
The Edmonton Oilers will be getting Cheerleaders. They are the first Canadian NHL hockey team to have cheerleaders. I think every team should have cheerleaders.
If you want to help support the Edmonton Oilers and become a Cheerleader than you can apply by clicking here.
There will be an info session held on Tuesday, October 26th from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Telus Field, 10233 – 96 Ave N.W. in Edmonton Alberta.
The auditions will be held on Friday October 29th and Saturday October 30th.
The only requirements listed to be a Edmonton Oiler Cheerleader are:
- Must be 21 years of age by Nov 15, 2010
- Must be a high school graduate as of June 15, 2010
- Cheer/Dance/Gymnastics experience is helpful, but not required
I think that would be fun to be a cheerleader for a hockey team! WOOT! Good luck to anyone applying!
