Edmonton Oilers Cheerleaders – How To Apply

The Edmonton Oilers will be getting Cheerleaders.  They are the first Canadian NHL hockey team to have cheerleaders.  I think every team should have cheerleaders.

If you want to help support the Edmonton Oilers and become a Cheerleader than you can apply by clicking here.

There will be an info session held on Tuesday, October 26th from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Telus Field, 10233 – 96 Ave N.W. in Edmonton Alberta.

The auditions will be held on Friday October 29th and Saturday October 30th.

The only requirements listed to be a Edmonton Oiler Cheerleader are:

  • Must be 21 years of age by Nov 15, 2010
  • Must be a high school graduate as of June 15, 2010
  • Cheer/Dance/Gymnastics experience is helpful, but not required

I think that would be fun to be a cheerleader for a hockey team!  WOOT!  Good luck to anyone applying!
