NHL Heritage Classic Tickets Go On Sale

A limited number of tickets to the 2011 NHL Heritage Classic will go on sale Friday, December 10th at noon Eastern, 9:00AM PST.  They will be available at  Ticketmaster.  Fans can also purchase travel packages to the game.

The game will be a match between the Montreal Canadiens and the Calgary Flames at the McMahom Stadium in Calgary on February 20th.

The Heritage Classic is an outdoor game that hasn’t been held in Canada since the Edmonton Oilers hosted the Montreal Canadiens on November 22nd, 2003.  This will be the second regular season outdoor game to be played this season.  The Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins will face off at the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic on New Years Day.

Unfortunately I will not be attending, although I’d love to.  I’m only 12 hours away from Calgary so maybe I can pull it off!
